Byte-exact cereal binary layout, RFC 8439 ChaCha20-Poly1305, RFC 7914 scrypt defaults; tokio transport preserving the original's observable behavior (contract B1-B3, B5 quirks included). Parity evidence: golden C++ vectors in tests/vectors.rs and loopback behavior tests; both cross-directions verified against the unmodified C++ binaries. 2026-09-30 Repo split out of ~/gits/rust-skill (which still holds the C++ original in omnivox/ and build-ref/). PARITY-CONTRACT.md normative; quirks B1/B2/B3/B5 preserved on purpose. Golden vectors: C++ oracles in tests/vectors.txt (regenerate via reference/README.md). Gotchas: tokio 1.53 uses Owned{Read,Write}Half via into_split (no IO through Arc); disconnect must actively shutdown the writer Option (Arc kept alive by read task). No unsafe. Not yet pushed to a remote.
